The frame is made of untreated, planed douglas wood.
Douglas is naturally weather-resistant and gradually turns silver-grey under uv light.
You can periodically oil the wood if you want to preserve the wood colour, or let it weather.
The worktop is made of ceramic, a material resistant to heat, scratches and stains.
Clean the ceramic top with water and a mild cleaning agent.
