General Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Scope and contracting parties

These General Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") apply to all contracts for the sale and delivery of goods concluded via the online shop varetti.de between Buitenkeukendeal B.V., trading under the brand VARETTI ("we", "us" or "VARETTI"), and consumers ("customer" or "you").

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or self-employed profession.

2. Conclusion of the contract

The presentation of goods in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding invitation to place an order.

By clicking the order button "order with obligation to pay", you place a binding order for the goods in your basket. Receipt of your order will be confirmed by e-mail without delay. This acknowledgement of receipt does not yet constitute acceptance of your order.

The contract is concluded when we accept your order with an order confirmation in text form or dispatch the ordered goods, whichever occurs first.

The language of the contract is German. We store the text of the contract and send you the order details, these T&Cs and the cancellation policy in text form.

3. Description of goods and configuration

The essential characteristics of the goods are set out in the respective product description, the configuration and the order summary before the order is placed. Images are for illustration purposes; the expressly stated characteristics and the configuration you have chosen are decisive.

With wood and other natural materials, variations in colour, grain, texture and surface appearance typical of the material may occur. Such variations do not constitute a defect, provided they are customary in the trade and do not impair the agreed quality, function or safety.

If you select options via a configurator, the version you have chosen is recorded in the order summary and/or order confirmation. Only the version documented there is owed.

4. Prices, shipping costs and other costs

All prices stated in the online shop are total prices including statutory VAT. Any additional delivery, shipping or service costs will be clearly communicated to you on the product page or at the latest before you place your order.

5. Payment

The payment methods shown at checkout are available to you. The purchase price becomes due in accordance with the payment method you have chosen. Where an external payment service provider is used for a payment method, its terms and privacy information provided at checkout also apply.

6. Delivery and drop-off

We deliver to the delivery address within the delivery area shown in the online shop or at checkout. The delivery time applicable to the respective goods is stated on the product page and before the order is placed. Delivery within one week is only owed if it has been expressly confirmed for the goods concerned.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, goods are delivered to the kerbside at a point accessible to the delivery vehicle. Moving the goods into the building, into the garden or to their final location, as well as installation, are not owed.

You are responsible for ensuring that the access route and the delivery point are accessible to the delivery vehicle. Outdoor kitchens must not be lifted, pulled or moved by the worktop; please follow the transport and set-up instructions supplied.

7. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.

8. Right of withdrawal

Consumers are generally entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal. The details, deadlines, effects and the model withdrawal form are set out in our cancellation policy.

For goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs, there is no right of withdrawal, insofar as the statutory requirements for this are met. Whether this applies to a specific configuration will be clearly communicated to you before you place your order.

9. Statutory liability for defects

Statutory liability for defects applies. No voluntary VARETTI guarantee beyond the statutory rights is granted, unless a separate guarantee declaration is expressly given for a specific item.

10. Service and complaints

For questions, complaints and arranging a delivery, you can reach us at info@varetti.de or by phone on +31 (0)85 060 52 85.

11. Data protection

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our privacy policy.

12. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

13. Applicable law

Dutch law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence.

14. Final provisions

Should any provision of these T&Cs be or become wholly or partly invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the statutory provisions.
